How do I register my children?
After creating an account, you can add your children on the app’s landing screen, on the tab “My Children”.
How many children can I register?
You can register as many children as you wish. However, they can only be available for playdates or events, based on the details of your plan. In the free plan, only one child can be made available at a time.
Can I register a child that is not my own?
GoBuddies recommends the child’s parent or legal guardian to make the registration but the app allows registering caretakers, who can be the responsible person to take the children and be present at the playdates.
How do hobbies and language interfere in my child’s profile?
Hobbies and language are filters applied to facilitate looking for other children with a similar profile, This is a way of bringing together children with similar interests.
How many playdates can I register?
On the free plan, 1 playdate can be registered at a time. On other plans, registration follows the details of the plan chosen.
I want to schedule a playdate at a meeting point that is not registered. What should I do?
Before scheduling the playdate, you must register the meeting point and enable it.
Can I schedule a playdate with more than one child?
Yes, as long as they all are in your connections. It is also possible to create groups with more than one connection to schedule activities and/or events.
How can I cancel a playdate?
After the playdate has been scheduled, the playdate button starts to display a notification that, on clicking on it, releases access to information about the playdate scheduled. Using this, users can cancel and/or reschedule the playdate. In this action, users must select and inform the reason for the cancellation to his/her guests. GoBuddies will also receive a notice of the cancellation.
Am I in any way impaired or punished for cancelling a playdate?
Yes, in the event of many consecutive cancellations GoBudides may submit your profile for analysis.
What is a Meeting Point?
Meeting Points are places available to schedule playdates for the children. All playdates must take place in a meeting point already registered in the app or a private meeting point registered by the host.
How do I know a given meeting point is secure?
The app already has some pre-registered meeting points, such as public spots in the city. A meeting point is considered calm and protected when it has a personalized pin, and it’s a controlled environment as is the case of GoBuddies’s Corporate partners.
What is the difference between a public and a private meeting point?
Public meeting points are places where any user may schedule a playdate. The private ones are places like homes, gated communities, and social clubs where the access is limited by the host, the user who registered it.
How many meeting points can I register?
You can register as many meeting points as you wish. However, it can be made available only as per the details of your plan. The free plan allows making 2 meeting points available at a time.
How can I create connections?
Access the menu item Connections, search users by name and send the invite to connect. Invite accepted, you will be able to schedule a playdate or event with your Connections.
Is there any advantage in creating connections?
Yes, after the user becomes a connection, it becomes possible to create groups and events by sending invitations to these connections.
What is the maximum number of connections for me in the app?
There is no limit to connections for any plan. (Check for possible amendments in plans currently in force).
Can I exclude a connection?
Yes. After a user becomes a connection, the profile details may be accessed, and immediately under the person’s name, the “Cancel Connection” button is displayed.
Can I change the email in my account?
No. For security and data storage reasons, as described in our Use Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, the email and mobile phone number cannot be changed. In extreme cases (loss or theft), you can contact our support by email support@gobuddies.com
How can I exclude my account?
Users can, at any moment, request the cancellation of their account registered at GoBuddies. This can be done by sending an email to GoBuddies at support@gobuddies.com
The email registered by the user must be used to send the request for the cancelation of their account.
GoBuddies may cancel the account on the platform, for no reason and at any moment, by advising users with a minimum of thirty (30) days in advance. GoBuddies is also entitled to cancel accounts immediately in the following cases: (i) if users remain inactive for more than one (1) year consecutively; (ii) if users are in violation of any of the items set out in these Use Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy; (iii) in the event any commissive or omissive acts by the user that are incompatible with the object and purpose of GoBuddies are verified; (iv) in the event of the user’s death, when individual user, or extinction or inactivity of corporate users.
What if I should forget my password?
Your password may be retrieved using the email you registered. Just access the app and click on: I Forgot my Password and provide with the email registered. You will receive an email with a link to create a new password.
Can one email have more than one account?
No. Only one account can be registered for each email.
Is the app secure?
We are concerned with the children’s security! On registering, all users must provide us with security data. The check will be performed using:

If I have a problem during the playdate, is GoBuddies accountable for the event?
No. GoBuddies is an app that serves as a tool to schedule and organize playdates for children. The people involved in the situation are the ones responsible for whatever happens in the physical environment, not the app, as per Use Terms and Conditions, item 7.
How can I denounce a problem I may have with another user?
The app has a Support on the menu that by clicking on it, you can report any problems, denounce the abuse, or giving feedback to the app. This functionality can help banish undesirable individuals from GoBuddies.
Is internet access required to access the app?
Yes. The app searches for the availability of children for playdates through its Geo-location making it necessary to be online on the internet via WIFI or Celular Data.
Does the app only work on mobile phones or also in other devices (Tablet and iPad)?
The GoBuddies app is compatible with Android and iOS. It has not been optimized for tablets, being appropriate for smartphones/cell phones.
I cannot download the app. What should I do?
Make sure you are connected to a Wi-fi network or have enough mobile data to download the app. In order to access the app, the device must also have enough space/memory for this.
