If it were not for Ellen, GoBuddies would not exist. A social butterfly, all Ellen wanted in life was to go on playdates. She even refused to enter restaurants that did not have any kids. With that in mind, her mom decided that it was time to create something that requested kids playdates without the worry of interrupting the other parent’s busy schedule. Besides being the inspiration, Ellen contributed a great deal with GoBuddies’ writing content. By using her creativity, she helped with writing materials that appeal to families with kids.
Eunice envisioned GoBuddies when her daughter Ellen was seven years old. Eunice found it difficult to get parents to set up playdates for their kids due to their SiliconValley busy life while living in the San Francisco Bay area. She also lived in the Sonoma-CA-Wine Country- a calmer region but found out that it wasn’t much different. With this, combined with the excess of electronics her daughter was exposed to, made her go on a mission to create a tool to facilitate parents and caregivers to get kids to play and interact more with each other.
