Being in touch with nature means more colors and sensations

Contato com a natureza é sinônimo de mais cores e sensações

Either in the countryside, on the beach or in the city, enabling your children to experience outdoor activities and get in touch with nature is paramount.

In addition to getting out of the rut, enjoying vacations even more, and doing some exercise, children can explore a world of activities and learn from it.

But how? If kids are kept indoors only, spending their free time watching television or staying on the cellphone, they will only get a sense of things inside the virtual world. But if you introduce them to other places, they will experience real-life emotions.

New sensations and colors will bring a vast repertoire for their whole lives. A study made by Regina University in Canada showed that playing outdoors can stimulate young people to be more active and healthier in the future. The study included more than 300 youngsters from ages 9 to 17 and measured how much time they spent outdoors. “If we can have them outdoors for longer periods, they will be more active, and that provides long-term benefits,” reveals Dr. Lee Schaefer, one of the study’s authors.

There is no excuse: if you live in the city, there are many ways to provide this to your children, either in a park, on a square or even in the playground of your building, the important thing is to have your child playing outdoors!

And that will be a world of fun!
